Imagine yourself under scorching heat exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, not in a car without air conditioning, not in a house without ventilation or a roof, not even on a street without trees or shade. But in a flimsy tent made of nylon or sheet metal, these tents trap and amplify the heat, searing the bodies underneath – bodies already burned by the fires of war, bombing, fear, loss, wounds, and burns.
Now imagine that famine is worsening in Gaza, and obtaining food and water has become increasingly difficult, with prices skyrocketing. Everything in Gaza has become dire, and life has become unbearable because there is hardly any real life left here.
Your help is the simplest thing you can offer. I hope my message reaches the kind and compassionate hearts in this deaf world.
