8:17 PM @anat.international israel spills our blood like it’s water. israel burns Palestinians in their tents that they were displaced into, in the designated “safe areas” of the Gaza Strip.
israel kills Palestinians while they are praying. israel kills the civil defense teams and ambulances that come to the rescue. israel is destroying our lineages.
What is so appalling and confusing to me is how strange this world is. We are brought into it, and are taught certain things about how to achieve“success”. We are set on a path from birth, where we go to school and are then expected to go to university, before we start working and making an income to sustain ourselves. We are taught that life has a purpose and meaning, and that human life is sacred and should not be harmed. We are even taught to invest our cash in things like property because having cash sit in your bank is not the correct way to do it.
I am struggling to come to terms with the brutal fact that these rules and ways of living do not apply everywhere.
In Gaza, these rules never actually applied, even before October 2023, these established seemingly “fool-proof” methods for how one should lead a life were futile at best. Our children, our families, our homes, our incomes, everything we work towards gets destroyed by israel, and we have to pick up the remaining pieces.
Except now, there are no pieces left to pick other than the human remnants, body parts, and organs that splatter everywhere after an israeli bombing.
israel is a threat to the whole world, and to the essence of what it means to be alive. Is this the world that you have all accepted? For yourself and for your kids?? Because truly, for months, israel has made it to the point where life feels like it has absolutely no purpose, given the nonstop carnage and murd3r of Palestinians. And no one is stopping it because of selfishness, greed, and profits.
I hope no one who is responsible for this, be it israel, the usa, or the arab world finds peace in their life. And I hope Gaza remains a thorn in every conqueror’s throat, in every colonizer’s throat. I despise you, world.
