So many American advocates who were very outspoken for Palestine in the past few months are suddenly embracing Kamala when she is part of the Biden administration, is a cop, a zionist, and a pro-genocide freak. Identity politics has such a crazy hold on Americans, and for them to actually decolonize their mentality seems impossible bc most Americans cannot relate to our struggles that are a result of US foreign policy on our lands. I don’t understand how anyone can think Democrats are “less evil”. Obama was more evil than George Bush. Democrats= Republicans. Wake up!!! Gaza has polio, Khan Younis is being evacuated, and the bombing hasn’t stopped in almost 300 days.

8:24 PM @hossam_shbat من اجل ان تأكل عليك ان تؤمن الطعام طوال النهار تجول في الطرقات حتى تستطيع ان تأمن شيئ تقدمه لاطفالك وان وجدت تدخل في معاناة جديدة وهي معاناة كيفية طهي الطعام فلم يتوفر غاز الطهي منذ 9 اشهر تعتمد الأهالي على إشعال النيران بالحطب وذلك أضاف معانا اكبر فتحتاج ليوم كامل من اجل جمع الحطب وقتل بعض المواطنين أثناء جمعهم للحطب من امكان حدودية

I think what people don’t realize is how inhabitable Gaza is becoming. With the destructiton of buildings, infrastructure and land - how does one continue living here? People’s hopes and dreams have been completely obliterated here. Some people spent a lifetime building their lives here, hoping to provide a better life for their family - but it’s all gone.
